about the leaf shapes book, I used toilet paper (and it had to be good toilet paper) and I referenced leaf shapes, and then stitching an outline of it onto the toilet paper and then lightly colored it in w/colored pencil. it took a long time and I had to be really delicate and slow, I ripped the toilet paper a few times...but all the leaves are real leaf shapes. the binding is a japanese stab binding.
